DIET DRUGS by Hal Marcovitz

This book describes the many different types of diet drugs, how they are used, what they consist of, and why people use them. There is also a brief history of diet drugs. Through facts, percentages, and statistics, the book shows how the media can affect teen's self esteem about their bodies. I gained a deep knowledge of the history of diet drugs and the harms they cause.

I would recommend this book to those who are interested in science and history. It gives valuable information and backs up that information with facts. The only bad thing I have to say is that sometimes its terminology is a little too scientific. -- Jessica in Coxsackie
